Young Thug’s Album Release Date Announced
Inmate rapper Young Thug stated on Thursday (22 June) that his new album, titled “Business Is Business,” will be released later that night.
The black and white album cover depicts Thug in a courtroom with his fellow defendants sitting on either side of him. The album will be the first by the Atlanta-bred rapper since 2021’s “Punk,” and the first since his arrest and imprisonment on RICO charges alongside fellow rapper Gunna and scores of others in a major gang indictment.
After Thug made his statement, the album cover was tweeted by Metro Boomin with the phrase “BUSINESS IS BUSINESS AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE TONIGHT!!… FREE SHARED ACCOMMODATION. I adore you. Drake, 21 Savage, Coi Leray, and others showed their support for Thug’s album by posting the album’s mysterious countdown on their social media profiles before the album was ever officially announced.
